Always remember the beauty of the garden, for there is peace

I thought I'd take some photos of my garden so far this year.
Purple Pole Beans
3 Holly hocks (started from seed last year)
Sweet william
Red burgundy okra
Perrenial sunflower

In the vegetable garden I used all heirloom varieties from www.underwoodgardens.com. I am so excited about it and can't wait to see if we can actually harvest something this year. The perennials I've had growing the past few years in a small overgrown garden up the hill. I'm hoping to eventually purchase some kind of metal art sculpture for a focal point and recently discovered some beautiful artwork on this site, www.chavenellestudio.com. I am in love with the family sculptures.
We are off to Block Island this weekend, I can't wait. It will be so great to bike around, explore and my personal fav relax!

I'm sure your garden will be lovely! On a separate note, can you shoot me an email? I don't have your address and I wanted to send you some details about our knitting group—maybe find a time when we could visit! Thanks! (kerry@levinedc.com)
