First cabling project and Old Sturbridge Village

Cabled Purse lined with Asian Fabric
Pattern: Knottygirl knits
Yarn: Debbie Bliss cashmerino bulky
I really enjoyed making this handbag for a special someone whose name will remain a secret. It knit quickly and I was able to sew in the liner, thanks to help from Lula!

This past week we went up to Old Sturbridge Village for a wee trip. I really loved seeing the garden harvest and hopefully I can try to grow a similar version of this squash next summer, they were so huge and interesting looking.
I am on the right track with my recent PCOS diagnosis and feeling really good. I stopped by New Morning this past weekend and they helped me out with some different things to keep in mind to keep my blood sugar steady. My test results were good and a few have not come back yet.

What a beautiful bag! I am always impressed when people take the time to do a nice lining.

(Also, I'm from CT too, and I LOVE Sturbridge Village!)
